I value that Obama wants to give everyone a chance that you feel is wrong in some way. If you want to pay for your healthcare you can just because little suzy doesnt have rich parents should not mean she dies due to the private free market system on which your health care system operates. Now if suzy wanted laser eye surgery she can pay for it and it wont cost 100 grand. Id hate for you to become ill because to be honest it isn't fun but im sure if you were suddenly stricken with a rage induced omg im gonna kill these stupid mother fuckers kinda strokes im sure you wouldnt want to either pay for that or later on if you succumbed to said stroke and die and leave that to your family a giant mortgage sized medical bill. sure you have medicaid or medicare but im sure some things wouldnt be covered because as you said its a free market and they are there to make money not pay for you to be sick im sure they pay a little bit but eventually you get cut because you ate a twinkie once in third grade and thats been linked to strokes (ya i know im grasping) and they leave you or your family with the rest of the bill but due to your free market you end up with a whopping 6 figure or more bill for services rendered. Where i come from allowing someone to be cared for to give em a god damned chance isnt giving someone a fuckin hand out its called the right to live not live with your shit and die because some people decided hey lets not let people have health care lets charge them money and because it isnt regulated we'll make boat loads of money from it.
